The prayer beads of this chotki are a wonderful heavenly blue, like the summer sky. They bear the most intriguing pearlescent finish. From a distance the beads look like opaque blue pearls, but up close you can actually see that they are transparent, and the light flows through them. This reminds me that as we pray, we develop a 'spiritual eye' that allows us to see past the material world.

The divider beads are millefiore glass, capped with bali-style sterling silver bead caps. The cross is also millefiore.
