Okay, it isn't sapphire. But the string of beads seems like a road of paving stones, like ancient paved roads would be. And the dark blue porcelain orbs every 10th bead are like milestones, showing how far you've gone in your journey.

6mm round sky blue quartz prayer beads are separated by little blue seed beads. The porcelain divider beads are painted with lovely burgundy flowers, and I've capped them with 4mm round Swarovski pearls in a light bronze color. The paternoster is finished at one end with a dark blue stone cross and at the other with a dark blue tassel. Strung on 49-strand Softflex Gold flexwire.
