This rosary is made of Czech fire-polished glass Aves in a topaz color, with a Holy Spirit centerpiece and a San Damiano crucifix. The paters are faceted yellow glass or crystal (they were labeled "Fashion Crystal" at my local craft store, but to my experienced eye they look like fire-polished glass). The colors of the beads nicely complement the background in the full-color centerpiece of the Holy Spirit, which also bears a bas-relief image of Our Lord with His Sacred Heart on the reverse.
I named this rosary 'Warmth of the Comforter' because the beads and background of the centerpiece are warm sunny colors - not red, as associated with the Holy Spirit's fire, but yellow and topaz, like the warm sunshine, and more in line with His work as Comforter, in the way that a sunny day is comforting after a long and difficult night.
I have kept costs low by using silver-plated eyepins and findings, silver-plated chain, and glass beads. The centerpiece and crucifix are silver-tone metal. $40
