"Glory to Glory" 103-Bead Vervitsa

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
--II Corinthians 3:18

The 6mm prayer beads of this vervitsa are green aventurine, to represent the person who fears God, because green is the color of new life - the glory we receive at Baptism. The divider beads are 10mm yellow "new jade", to represent the glory we can attain in our quest to live the virtuous life. The cross is antiqued bone, chosen because it so nicely matches the divider beads, showing that it is the Cross of Christ that makes us receptive to the glory of God.

Strung on .019" platinum-quality flexwire.
