"Joan of Arc" 103-bead Komvoschinion

Some people prefer their Komvoschinion divided every 10 beads. St. Basil the Great used a Komvoschinion with this configuration. Ours have three additional prayer beads above the cross, in honor of the Holy Trinity. This makes a total of 103 beads.

6mm glass pearl prayer beads with 3mm aqua separator beads are combined with teal dividers on this komvoschinion, to remind us that through the waters of baptism we learn the pearls of our faith.

We named this komvoschinion after Joan of Arc as a reminder that women, who often feel insignificant in the church, can be very strong in the faith and can fight for the truth as champions of that faith.

The teal divider beads, bearing white flowers, are capped with teal Czech firepolished 3mm glass beads. The pewter cross is also a flowery design. The multitude of flowers symbolize women as well as the beauty of the faith.
