The prayer beads, on which we pray the Jesus prayer, are faceted rondelles of "A" quality amethyst, to represent Jesus in his office of King.

The smooth round crystal divider beads represent the Holy Spirit: clear like water to represent His work in baptism; clear like how He "is like the wind and moves where He will"; clear like the clarity He bestows upon the Church and the Faith (a clarity of faith that is also represented by the clear quartz cross).

The crystal divider beads are capped with sterling silver bead caps, and the amethyst prayer beads are capped with Bali-style sterling silver daisy spacers. This is to represent the Father and his Headship within the Trinity. Jesus tells his disciples that He only does what He sees the Father doing. He also tells them that He has prayed that the Father would send them the Comforter. So, as the Father's headship directs both the Spirit and the Son, the beads that represent them are capped with sterling silver to represent the Father.
