This 64-bead mequteria is designed with somber dark colors of 6mm Moss Jasper prayer beads reflect the sorrow-filled heart of Mary. In addition to the Seven Sorrows recognized by the Latin Rite in their chaplet, Mary's life was one of on-going sorrow. She knew the fate that was destined to befall her Son (witness the icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, where she comforts His fear of His future Passion).
