The Aves on this chain-style rosary are 6mm pearl-coated translucent emerald Czech Jablonex druk beads. Each is capped with a tiny green seed bead. The Paters are green/black 12mm 4-sided oval Czech pressed glass beads, capped with black seed beads.

In honor of St. Patrick and the Emerald Isle, we have made this emerald green rosary with an Irish penal crucifix, as was used during the penal era when Catholics were forbidden to own religious items under the reign of Henry VIII. This particular style of crucifix was normally used on a single-decade rosary which could be slipped up one's sleeve to keep it hidden, but in this case I have used it on a full-size 5-decade rosary that measures 26-1/2" from the top of the loop to the bottom of the cross.
